A Monthly Attendance Report is an essential tool for organizations to monitor and manage employee attendance with accuracy and clarity. It provides a detailed, day-wise breakdown of each employee’s attendance, helping HR teams and managers gain better visibility into workforce productivity and behavior.
This report captures all key daily metrics, including in-time, out-time, total working hours, overtime hours, late entry duration, and early exit time. Each column represents a specific date along with its corresponding day name, making it easy to track attendance patterns throughout the entire month.
To ensure clarity and standardization, the report uses customized status codes that quickly communicate an employee’s attendance status:
- P – Present
- A – Absent
- WFH – Work From Home
- L – On Leave
- CL – Casual Leave
- COFF – Compensatory Off
- SL – Sick Leave
- LWP – Leave Without Pay
- HD – Half Day
At the end of the monthly view, the report provides a comprehensive summary that includes total present days, total absent days, total overtime hours, weekly offs, holidays, and instances where employees were present on holidays or weekly offs.
It also gives a detailed breakdown of leave usage by type—such as Casual Leave, Sick Leave, Leave Without Pay, Privilege Leave, and Compensatory Off—along with total leave days and total paid days.
In addition to attendance data, the report includes essential employee information and offers flexible filtering options. Users can generate customized reports based on criteria like branch, employee category, department, and shift, making it highly adaptable for different organizational needs.
Overall, this Monthly Attendance Report streamlines attendance tracking, enhances transparency, and supports better decision-making by providing a complete and organized view of employee attendance data in one place.
