FedEx Tracking Integration Functionality

This integration enables efficient tracking of FedEx shipments within ERPNext through two key methods:

Users can click the “Get FedEx Details” button on a delivery note to instantly retrieve the latest tracking information for that specific shipment.


A scheduled job runs every morning to automatically update tracking details for all eligible delivery notes, ensuring shipment statuses remain current without manual effort.

The system first fetches details using the delivery note reference. Once a FedEx tracking ID is identified, future updates are retrieved directly through the tracking ID — providing faster, more accurate, and consistent tracking information within ERPNext.

Advanced Functionality

The integration also supports multiple FedEx account numbers linked to different warehouses. This allows businesses operating across multiple locations to fetch and update tracking information using the correct FedEx account for each warehouse automatically.


Configurable Response Codes

Within the integration settings, two configuration tables are available — one for Success Codes and another for Error Codes. These tables allow users to modify or redefine FedEx response status descriptions according to specific business requirements, providing more meaningful and customized tracking updates inside ERPNext.
